   Fiona, I am sending you this kudos to let you know how how empathize with you dealing with a post operative DH. I went through it 2 1/2 years ago and it was not any fun for either one of us. On the plus side my DH is doing great and I hope your DH recovers as well as mine has. I hope you are having a little fun. Speaking of fun why don't you join us for the 12 Days of Christmas SAL so you will have it for yourself.

   Sylvia, you're a dear! DH is doing extremely well and is almost back to his old self - he walks every day and I can now accompany him which I didn't all last year because he was so slow and preferred to go alone at his own pace. Last Sunday we walked over 6 miles and greatly enjoyed it. He is also dancing again and we are looking forward to all our favourite festivals that we had to miss last year. We have a lot to be thankful for.
   
   I haven't stitched since finishing two of Teresa's class pieces from Toronto, just about a year ago. I think I want to, but maybe the time still isn't quite right. However the new year has got off to a good start, I feel much better than I did even a month ago, and looking forward to spring......I'll keep an eye on the forum and maybe I'll join you after all!
